I have always enjoyed creating things with my own hands – especially from wood

This is me - Hendrik Beneke
For many years, I worked in the world of computer technology and software. My path even led me to Silicon Valley for a few years. But as fascinated as technology is, craftsmanship has never left me. I've always enjoyed creating things with my own hands—especially out of wood. Now I want to dedicate myself to developing tangible solutions: I'm excited by the idea of creating products that not only function, but also touch.

The idea behind Tischli
From a young age, I was surrounded by large gatherings, joyful parties, and full garden tables. At celebrations—whether as a guest or host—I was repeatedly reminded: the market offers hardly any bar tables that are both stable and stylish, sustainable, and practical. Wobbly frames, boring looks, and heavy-to-transport constructions—all of this inspired me to do better. With a lot of passion, months of research, and numerous prototypes, I refined every detail: from the ideal leg alignment to the robust tabletop and the right wood processing. The result is Tischli—a bar table that combines design, stability, and sustainability. For anyone who wants to celebrate special moments in style.

What is important to me
A table should not only look good, but also feel good – and for me, that starts with quality: with great attention to detail, "made in Germany," and genuine craftsmanship. Wood instead of plastic, stability instead of wobbly, cheerful colors instead of dull covers – and high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and a table that will accompany you for a long time. Because things that are well-made simply bring joy longer.
